SJB Anointed Productions was founded by Steven & Darlene Byrd on April of 2000. They are currently celebrating 10 years of existence of a chartered promotions company in the State of Ohio. The company started out as a dream of being a concert promoter, which has materialized into a promotions company, and booking agency through the mighty hands of Jesus Christ. SJB Anointed Productions is made up of five board members, and an investor who has been a blessing to the company during the company's infancy.
SJB Anointed Productions prides itself in treating artists with dignity and respect. There are no big I's and little You's in the company. At the end of the day "God is still in control". It has been the dream of the company to work with national recording artists and to help launch them to higher levels in the music industry. It is important that we work together as a team, and strive for the same goals if we are going to be successful. Therefore, SJB Anointed Productions is particular in who they work to promote. "I must feel them, and hear their heart", says Steven J. Byrd President and CEO of the company. If I don't believe in them how can I rightfully promote them? People need to know that we are honest people, and that we will do everything we can to help them. If it does not work for me, then let's move on. Trust is essential in this industry.
SJB Anointed Productions also gives back to the community. It is a passion of our company to put on benefit concerts that brings awareness for "Missing and Exploited Children". We are facing an epidemic in our country that many of our youth have been abducted from their homes, and abused. They never return to their parents. It is our company's desire to bring a "voice to those who are missing and have no voice to say "stop the violence and abduction of our children." We have done events in the past to raise money to find these children. Past performers have been Lashun Pace, Melba Moore, KiKi Sheard, 21:03, Dorinda Clark Cole, and Benita Washington just to name a few.
I trust God that he will guide this company to the next level. God has done great things already for us. I cannot wait to see what the next ten years will bring!
